Close Your Eyes (CYE) is an upcoming South Korean boy band formed through JTBC’s survival show Project 7 in December 2024. Close Your Eyes group’s agency is Uncore, a label jointly formed by SLL and YG Plus. Close Your Eyes represents a new wave of K-pop talent, bringing together a multinational lineup with rich pre-debut experiences.
When will Close Your Eyes Debut?
The group consists of seven members and is set to debut on April 2, 2025, with the extended play Eternalt.
Who Are Close Your Eyes Group Members?
Close Your Eyes group is made up of 7 members including Jeon Minwook, Ma Jingxiang, Jang Yeojun, Kim Sungmin, Song Seungho, Sakurada Kenshin, and Seo Kyoungbae. Most of them have prior experience in the entertainment industry.
Jeon Min-wook debuted with BAE173 under PocketDol Studio on November 2020. Jang Yeojun participated in MBC’s Extreme Debut: Wild Idol in 2021 but was eliminated in the third episode. Ma Jingxiang and Jang Yeojun competed in Mnet’s Boys Planet in 2023. Jang was eliminated in the fifth episode, ranking 62nd, while Ma reached 30th place before his elimination in the eighth episode.
Pre-Debut Activities
Before their official debut, Close Your Eyes gained attention by performing “Time After Time” an original song from Project 7, at the 39th Golden Disc Awards on January 4-5, 2025, held at Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka. Close Your Eyes also had their first magazine photoshoot with Cosmopolitan Korea in January 2025, further building anticipation for their debut.
Upcoming Debut and Releases
Close Your Eyes is set to make their official debut on April 2, 2025, with their first extended play (EP) titled Eternalt. While specific details about the EP’s tracklist and concept remain under wraps, fans eagerly await the group’s fresh sound and dynamic performances.
