SM Entertainment recently provided an update on Red Velvet’s Wendy following a serious fall at the SBS Gayo Daejeon rehearsals in December 2019. “Though Wendy has gone far in her recovery, she is still receiving hospital treatment. She’s improved a lot, and she’s currently recovering and receiving treatment,” SM said on April 3, 2020. Wendy suffered facial, pelvic, and wrist injuries during her accident on December 25, 2019. Sad news struck the AOA family as Jimin’s father passed away unexpectedly following a heart attack. FNC Entertainment announced the news April 3, 2020. “Jimin’s father passed away from a sudden cardiac arrest,” the company said. “Jimin is currently keeping watch at his wake with her family.” Jimin’s father’s funeral will take place at a hospital in Gyeonggi Province. Korean singer Wheesung appears to be in dire straits following two incidents where he was found passed out after taking the anesthetic etomidate. On March 31, 2020, Wheesung, 38, was found passed out in a bathroom in a building in Seoul’s Songpa District. Allegedly, a syringe and bottle of etomidate were found nearby.
